This is the exciting debut of my new quartet, Som Dela (“her sound” in Portuguese), featuring: Jane Lenoir, flute; Irene Sazer, violin; Rebecca Hass, piano; and Michaelle Goerlitz, percussion.

The ensemble is dedicated to performing music by women composers from Brazil, including their original compositions, as well as the music of Léa Freire, Luisa Mitre, Carol Panesi, Chiquinha Gonzaga, Kerry Politzer, Daniella Spielmann, Luciana Rabello, and more.
