This concert is part of the new Chamber Music @ Good Shepherd series, directed by violinist and educator Sarah Wood. Having spent years of teaching and performing throughout the Bay Area, Wood envisioned this chamber music series as a way to contribute meaningfully to the East Bay arts community and to present intimate performances by outstanding independent Bay Area chamber groups and solo artists. A central goal of the series is to ensure that at least 50% of the works presented are by women and other minority composers, reflecting a commitment to diversity and artistic inclusivity.
