Brazilian Music Friday Feature #8

I hope that everyone had a nice Thanksgiving yesterday! I have worked in retail, and have worked my fair share of Black Fridays, so I always relish the chance to relax (and wish that everyone got that chance!)

Black Orpheus > Black Friday, right? Today's feature is Samba de Orfeu from the 1959 movie Black Orpheus, a version of Orpheus and Eurydice set during Carnaval in a favela in Rio. It has a great soundtrack from Antonio Carlos Jobim and Luiz Bonfá, all worth listening to, and an appearance by pandeiro legend Carlinhos Pandeiro de Ouro when he was young!
