Last week I featured Piano Na Mangueira by Tom Jobim and Chico Buarque, and talked about the tritone, a musical interval rarely seen in vocal music. The other Brazilian example that I alluded to is O Mestre Sala Dos Mares by João Bosco, another great Brazilian musician and songwriter that began his career in the 1970s. Kid Cavaquinho is another well-loved song of his that I've featured (#7 on this list).
