Brazilian Music Friday Feature #30

This week's pick is Cochichando, performed by São Paulo-based pianist and accordionist Daniel Grajew, who is a very adept player of classical music, jazz, and other Brazilian styles, and finds clever ways to mix them together in various groups.

Here he is doing a duet with himself on both instruments! I randomly discovered this video in my Facebook feed a few days ago, and have been really enjoying his collection of videos on YouTube

I just performed this tune on solo piano last week, and was inspired by this video, both to try more new left hand tricks on piano, and to practice accordion!

If you have someone whose performance inspires you to practice more, or makes you wish to play that instrument, tell me about it in the comments.

Enjoy the music, and your weekend!
